My name is Jack Delperdang. I am a senior journalism and media communication major at the University of Nebraska Omaha that will be graduating in May 2021. I have worked work with MavRadio, the college radio station, and have been a reporter with the Omaha News.
I am very ambitious and love to say yes. I will take on any challenge that someone presents to me and do it to the best of my ability each and every time. I am also a self-starter, meaning I am always motivated to do things, I do not need to be yelled at. Finally, I am a team player. I will do whatever needs to be done.
I do not have much experience in the journalism field but have taken media writing, radio/audio classes and other classes in the television studio to get first-hand experience. While at MavRadio I have helped call live campus basketball and baseball games, hosted my own sports show and even produced other sporting events like volleyball and hockey, in addition to basketball and baseball.
My plan after college is to get into the field of sports broadcasting working as a journalist with my own radio or tv show, or even podcast. I would love to have the chance to travel as a part of my job and be on tv calling live games or talking about sports. Hope you enjoy the content on my website.
